In August 1980, a trio called The Meteors debuted on the stage of the London pub The Sparrow Hawk, that performance was violently aborted by an audience accustomed to more traditional forms of Rockabilly.

Before the end of the decade many bands of sharp guitars, adrenaline basses and frenetic drums, would add to that mutation of the Rock & Roll that The Meteors had dubbed as Psychobilly, while the streets of the main European cities were flooded with juvenile hordes with sucks of leather, military boots, faded pants and the sharpest and fanciful toupees they had ever seen. After three decades of marginality and survival in the most absolute underground, the Psychobilly has reached today a state of maturity, professionalism and stability that place it as one of the most attractive proposals of the alternative Rock & Roll.

"Psychobilly, 30 years of Rock & Roll for Mutants" is the first book written in Spanish that reviews the international history of the genre: the most relevant and curious bands, record labels, fanzines, festivals ... all seasoned with a Excellent selection of graphic material.
